Important Decision Number 1 - I'm going to share more about you guys!
That's correct! I am doing a lot of blog reading lately and have been in absolute awe of some of the posts that I read every week. So I am going to be adding links to my favourite reads each week on a Sunday so you can chillax and read some outstanding posts out there in the blogosphere. You lovelies already know that I read Anja and Alyx's every word as I refer to them so much. Although I wouldn't be surprised if they popped up every so often in my little Sunday round ups.
Please, please, pretty please tweet me links to your posts - anything craft, recipe, blog design, books, fashion, grumbles, life etc interest me. I just want to share how great my Google Reader is on a weekly basis. That's down to you! Thanks!
Weekly Round-up:
- For the second week in a row I am dribbling over Mexican recipes at This Gal Cooks - she should totally write an ebook of her recipes. Did ya catch that Julie?
- I also had my stomach flip over at the thought of Caramel Apple Muffins at Cooking Classy. Autumn for me is all about the apples..not sure about the pumpkin thing, except maybe for soup.
- I have enjoyed catching up with Rebecca's blog over at Heron's crafts. You can see from her September round up, this girl has some seriously good craft and cooking tutorials.
- Claudia at Lashes & Beard put together a fantastic post for any newbie bloggers on watermarking your photos.
- Jen at Whitfield Awesome had me in stitches over her take on being unmarried at 30.
Important Decision Number 2 - I'm Celebrating!
Yes, that's right! I am in full blown dance around the room, making happy noises and smiling territory. I hit 500 GFC followers last week. These are some of the words that spring to mind when I noticed my counter: wow, insanity, really?, what?, awesome, marvellous, wow, really?, brilliant, fantastisch.....etc.....really?.....etc!
I have been appalling at organising milestone giveaways, but I am pretty sure I should be celebrating this one. I have decided to hold a mahoosive November giveaway to keep the party feeling going.
I need help though. I would love to have lots of prizes to give away. Can you help me? I would love it even more if you are able to donate what you can, be it something worth $5 all the way up to $50.
Please email me if you have something you can donate so I can send you the form (that will be made soon!)
Important Decision Number 3 - Book Club!
I've made a decision! It took me a bit of time....brain power....energy and some procrastination, but the book club solution has been finalised. Book Club will restart with a new title on 9th November, giving me enough time to finish Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy. No matter which way I thought about it, I had no desire to stop reading this awesome novel, to pre-read the book club text so that I might write questions etc.
I'd apologise, although I expect my fellow book-clubbers will understand. I'm a one book at a time gal.
We're going to fall back on the second choice book as it has already been released in America and the UK. So we're reading: The Dead Women of Juarez by Sam Hawken.
Until then, I thought we could share some posts on our favourite literature. I hope you book club peeps will join in. Link up a post answering these questions each week and we can all get to know each other a little better! How lovely (insert cheesy grin here).
Friday 12th October: What is your favourite Classic
book?
Friday 19th October: What is your favourite children's book?
Friday 26th October - What book changed your life?
Friday 2nd November - What have your read recently: a review post?

And if any of you want to read Anna Karenina with me, let me know and maybe we can organise a G+ hang out to discuss it's general amazingness. I'm 250 pages through the 800 or so....ah well, we can just organise it for when we all finish!
So, despite my brain resembling a more fatigued than normal wombat, I managed to make some decisions. What have you guys loved in blog land this week? Are you going to join me on my little weekly celebrations of all things books? And if you're planning on helping out on my giveaway - what are ya waiting for? Email me now!

Hooray for book club decisions!
The teacher in you is making us all read! ;-) Okay, maybe I will try this time. My lazy butt prefers to be sitting around not reading right now, but for you: anything! ;-)
Thanks for the shout out, sweets! And kudos for making mahoosive a word!

Thanks for mentioning my blog, Rosie! I like the book club link up that you mentioned in this post. I will have to remember to check it out. As for right now, I am currently reading A Storm of Swords, the 4th book in the Song of Ice and Fire series by George R.R. Martin. Tomorrow I should be receiving The Walking Dead Compendium 2 (which contains comics 49-96) so I am excited to read that since I am a HUGE fan of the show.
Have a great evening!
