MY ZURICH MAKE-UP BAG

 Now that my German lessons are on a break, I finally have chance to enjoy a little break away. One bonus of living in Germany is that we are so close to many other countries. As you are reading this, I am in Zurich (obviously!), but I thought I would share with you what make-up I took with me. I am also going to try and vlog for the first time ever, so you will actually (hopefully) get to see what is on my face during this time. If it sucks nuts, I won't be showing it though! (Not my face...the vlog!)


Zoeva Vegan Travel Brush Set  
 - I bought this set for my wedding as it containted all of the basic brushes I needed to do my whole face. The quality of the synthetic brushes is excellent. I particularly like the eye brushes available and always use them with my Naked 3 Palette.
Naked 3 Eyeshadow Palette 
A gorgeous collection of rose-tinted nudes for every possible occasion.
 Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24h Foundation
Yes - that is my Lancome foundation in the travel bottle. When shopping for expensive foundation, don't drop the bottle on the floor in Superdrug, 10 minutes after buying it. The staff in Superdrug saved about a 1/3 of my bottle by quickly fetching a travel bottle for me, and carefully helping me pour the remained in, while looking out for potential glass shards at the same time. I do like glass foundation bottles, but I think it is time to invent a plastic-but-feels-like-glass alternative.
Collection Lating Perfection Concealer
I know it won't come off when I am really hot - even the MAC Studio fix can't do that on my face when I am over-heating!
Rimmel London Undercover Shadow Primer
I tried the Urban Decay primer - it made my shadow crease! Maybe I am an exception. This Rimmel one does the job very nicely and for a third of the price.
Loreal Paris Super Liner Perfect Slim Black Eyeliner
So easy to use - even if you are useless with eyeliner application like me! 
Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder 
You guys already know about this one - it just works.
Loreal Falsh Lash Telescopic Mascara (waterproof) 
I think I may have found one of the last waterproof ones of these out there. The brush is fantastic and makes my lashes look fab. Watch out for accidental eye-poking though...for some reason this is the only mascara I seem to be able to do that with.
Maybelline Colour Sensational Lipstick in Crazy Pink
I can't find this exact shade on line, but it is a very pretty pink - perfect for summer.
Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in 02
Not one of the most raved-about shades, this is more of a rose-tinted number which suits my pale complexion. Same great long-lasting formula...different shade.
No 7 Stay Perfect Eye Shadow in Pretty Pink
My go-to eye shadow base. It helps the primer do its job and is also a pretty golden pink colour.
NYX Powder Blush in Angel 
A peachy hue with a slight shimmer, perfect for a bit of heat.
NYX Butter Gloss in Vanilla Cream Pie
 Very wearable, very moisturising and such a lovely easy, every-day pink. Expect to see this on my lips the most!

I was intending to take less than this as I thought I would only have a carry-on bag with me...but then hubbie suggested we take a bigger suitcase, so all of my space-saving ideas went straight out of the window! Oops! Do you ever do that?
