A while ago I said that I was going to dedicate Sundays to sharing my favourite posts from around the web. Since then, I have spent a lot of time reading blogs, yet forgetting to keep a record of my links. An even longer time ago, I asked my friend Lieke if I could interview her as I was so interested by reading her blog Swirling Away. She's such a positive person. So when, she replied to my email with answers to all of my questions, I was over the moon. I LOVE getting to know bloggers through personal posts. I'll warn you - there are some fantastic facts here. I'd be really excited if you could tell me more about yourself too, by leaving a comment with answers to some of my probing questions.
Since there are a lot of Rosie fans that do not yet know how to Swirl, here is some more insight information on myself, my blog and what I like to do in order to Swirl all day!
1. What are your favourite pastimes?
This is easy! Sit on the couch, watch E!Entertainment or 24Kitchen and eat chocolate!
2. What is your favourite place in the world?
Hmmm this is the most difficult question... and to be honest I do not have an answer..... There are loads of places that I really like and that I have a lot of nice memories of.... So I will leave this one open for now! If you guys have any suggestions, please let me know!!!
3. If you could have one super-power what would it be?
When I was younger me and my brothers used to watch the X-Men cartoon and I always wanted to be as strong as Rouge! I would actually think I had super powers... but not anymore :(
4. What is most awesome about where you live?
The cheese!!!! I love cheese and of course Holland is the land of cheese! So I am lucky to live here and being able to eat as many cheese as I can and also cheeses from all different countries!
5. What makes you really angry?
When people do not do what they say they would do! I believe everything should be too complicated but just say what you do and do what you say. No excuses.
6. What makes you laugh?
6. What makes you laugh?
A lot of things! I like to smile and laugh! But if I had to choose 1 thing I would say at the moment it is Fashion Police on E!Entertainment! This is always to funny and harsch but I love it! And also you get to know the latest fashion do's and dont's. Oh and I should probably mention my boyfriend who can always make me smile and my older brother! He is just so funny! Sometimes it is not even funny but I have to laugh because he thinks somethings is really funny... Weird right...?

8. Where would you like to be in one year's time?
Pfff in Italy on holiday with my boyfriend!!! I am not the kind of person who plans out her whole life, I am not even sure where I want to be in 10 year's time!
9. What hidden talents do you have?
9. What hidden talents do you have?
Pffff.... my first instinct would none..... but I found out that I am pretty creative... so I will go with that :) Not sure if that is an actual talent...
10. What is your favourite word?
10. What is your favourite word?
My favorite word of this moment is "Liefdesvriendjes". This is a Dutch word and me and my boyfriend are "Liefdesvriendjes". What does it mean? Well literally translated it means we are "Love buddies". Kinda cute right?

What a cute interview =) And yes, liefdesvriendjes is probably the coolest word ever. A lot less confusing than the German terminology! xo
This is great, I jumped over and am now following her great blog!
I almost emailed you, or else I was going to leave the longest blog comment in the history of the world!
I'm sorry to have cheated you out of a world record Rose. So here goes.
1. What are your favorite pastimes?
Watching a really good movie snuggled up on my couch with Mr. T and our dog. Followed closely by a good day thrifting
2. What is your favorite place in the world?
Anywhere, as long as I'm with people I love and we're all laughing
3. If you could have one super-power what would it be?
Teleportation. I have friends all over the country that I miss dearly. This is what happens when you spend the first 8 years of marriage as a military spouse. I love these amazing friends like sisters but travels is just so expensive that if I could simply shimmer shimmer shimmer and be there it would be SUPER helpful!
4. What is most awesome about where you live?
I live in farm country, so during the summer you can get the freshest produce at amazing prices. There is a guy who sells the most amazing carrots all through the spring, summer, and fall at our local farmers market.
5. What makes you really angry?
Disrespect, of any kind.
6. What makes you laugh?
Everything. I laugh easily and LOUD! I love witty banter, sarcastic comments, but I have also been known to enjoy a good fart joke!
7. What life lessons will you pass on to your future children?
I'm a worrywarrt. I want to raise kids who understand that worrying won't change anything.
8. Where would you like to be in one year's time?
In our own home. I can't wait to have a place to call my own, to paint, and decorate, to entertain and relax.
9. What hidden talents do you have?
I'm really good at mimicking people. I would love to be a voice over artist, that would be amazing
10. What is your favorite word?
Joy.
Aww, I love that word! Dutch is such a great language. My American husband loves it too. He loved to watch Dutch television when we traveled to the Netherlands.
Great post! Loved to learn more about you!
What a cute interview! My favorite past times are drinking a cup of tea, laying on the couch with my boyfriend!
